Searching For a Good Book for Young Readers? We Asked the Expert

Patch Picks honors National Read Across America Day by giving you a list of some great stories.

In honor of National Read Across America Day, which was Wednesday and also doubles as the great Dr. Seuss' birthday, we tweaked our usual search for Patch Picks.

This week, we wanted to know, what are some of the best kids books for early readers? We asked Rose Shulman, children's librarian at the Parsippany-Troy Hills Public Library, for some suggestions.
