Three School Uniform Presentations This Week

Art Auction & Morris Choral Society Concert set for Saturday in Morris Plains.

The Parsippany-Troy Hills School District will hold presentations on the proposal for school uniforms this week at on Tuesday, on Wednesday and on Thursday. All meetings are at 7 p.m.

Here's a look at what else is happening:

Monday—The hosts Video Game Afternoon for children in grades 6 to 12 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Some of the games include Super Smash Brothers Brawl, Mario Kart, Wii Guitar Hero, Madden and Smackdown vs. Raw.

Tuesday—The Parsippany-Troy Hills Township Council will meet at the at 7:30 p.m.

Wednesday—The hosts Travel Tales, geared for children in kindergarten through third grade, from 4:15 to 5 p.m. Folktale stories set in various countries will be discussed.

Thursday—The branch will host Green Craft, a class to create crafts with recycled materials, from 3 to 5 p.m. 

Friday—The and wrestling teams compete in the District Tournament at Morristown High School at 4 p.m.

Saturday—A TLC Spaghetti Dinner & Art Auction Preview will be held at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Morris Plains from 5 to 7 p.m. Cost is $15 per person, while children under 12 are free. There will be a children's movie, "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" that will be shown. The event is a prelude to Sunday's Art Auction & Morris Choral Society Concert. A gallery exhibition of regional artists will be held Sunday at 3 p.m., followed by a concert at 4 p.m. Cost of the event is $20.

Sunday—The Mayo Center for Performing Arts in Morristown will host the second annual Garden State Folk Festival at 3 p.m. Tickets are $20.
