Toys for Tots Effort Comes to Parsippany

Dopbox is available at Town Hall for holiday donations of new, unwrapped toys.

If you're planning a visit to Town Hall to take care of some municipal business, you may want to deal with holiday business too: The Township of Parsippany-Troy Hills has announced its participation in the 2012 U.S. Marines Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program.

The municipal building at 1001 Parsippany Blvd. is now an official collection site for the annual drive, which distributes donated toys to needy children so that they can have a bright holiday.

According to the Office of Mayor James Barberio, toys are needed for all age groups. There is, however, a special need for items geared to kids between the ages of three and eight years.
