Ugandan Orphans Bring Music and Faith to Parsippany

The Watoto Children's Choir perform Wednesday at Parsippany United Methodist Church.

Special visitors are coming Wednesday to Parsippany United Methodist Church.

The Watoto Children's Choir of Uganda is made up of children representing the 1.8 million boys and girls in Uganda who have lost one or both of their parents to war or disease. The kids live in Watoto villages, where they receive spiritual, physical, educational and emotional care sothat they will become responsible and productive citizens of Uganda.

Through music and dance, according to organizer Bob Keller, the children present an energetic fusion of contemporary gospel and traditional African rhthym. The show they present is described as a colorful and lively demonstration of the life-changing love of God.
