Parsippany Garbage Pickup on Holiday Schedule
Recycling not picked up Wednesday will be collected Thursday and garbage will be taken on Friday.
Parsippany-Troy Hills Township has adjusted its garbage pickup this week, Mayor Jamie Barberio said Wednesday.
"Based on the reduced duration of Winter Storm Janus, the Township has been able to mobilize a minimum number of trucks to pick up garbage, according to the holiday schedule this week, and regularly scheduled recycling today," he said. "Every effort will be made to pick up garbage and recycling today and we ask that you leave your garbage and recycling containers at the curbside. If recycling is not picked up today, it will be picked up tomorrow (Thursday). Garbage that is not picked up today will be picked up on Friday."
