Work Out for a Cause in Parsippany

Your weekly list of weekend activities designed to get you out of the house and into the fun

This weekend offers lots of great things to do throughout the area. The options before are limited only by your imagination and... well, the number of events included in this list, but there are plenty of them. Among the most interesting items presented: You can get some needed exercise while doing some good at Parsippany's goPerformance and Fitness, moms with babies can give the wee ones some fun with mommy at Chatham's Postpartum Place, you can take the kids to experience the Urban Farm in Morristown or take a date to country-rock out with New Riders of the Purple Sage at Duke Island Park in Bridgewater. Enjoy yourself and have a good, safe time.

By the by, Hurricane Irene is expected to blow into the area this weekend. We highly recommend that you call ahead to make sure events are not cancelled or postponed before getting out.
