In 2011, at a famous local jazz spot, a chance encounter between gifted young jazz singer Brynn Stanley and seasoned veteran jazz entertainer Grover Kemble led to a greate friendship and a unique joint venture. The duo creates a tapestry of songs from the Great American Songbook ranging from Gershwin to Ellington and covering the great jump blues of the 1940s and '50s. With the inclusion of original jazz and blues compositions, seeing Stanley and Kemble appeals to both devotees of the jazz art form and audiences smply seeking a joyful concert.
