Storytelling Festival of World Music & Story at CCM Features Award-winning Author
Storytelling and music will be performed at the County College of Morris Student Center featuring master New Jersey storytellers and award-winning author/storyteller Rafe Martin. Rafe is the author of over 20 books for children and young adults that have been translated into languages including Swedish, French, Xhosa, Zulu, Korean, and Japanese. Speaking as both an author and storyteller, Rafe has appeared in thousands of schools, libraries, festivals, and conferences in every state including Alaska and Hawaii. He works with all ages, kindergarten through college and adult, telling stories and sharing an empowering vision of language, writing, creativity, and imagination. Rafe will be available for book signing after the performance.
World music will be presented by Andy Wasserman on an array of instruments from around the world. Tickets are $6 for all ages and are available at the door. Come for part or stay all afternoon.
