Hotel California: A Salute to the Eagles

The township of Parsippany-Troy Hills presents its 2011 Summer Concert Series.

On Tuesday, Aug. 30, Provident Bank sponsors a musical wayback trip to Laurel Canyon and the legendary country-rock of the Eagles. Tribute band Hotel California faithfully and accurately reproduces the sound of the Eagles' studio recordings while recreating a classic sound which undeniably transcends the boundaries of rock, R&B, and country while delivering a modern, action-packed performance that brings this timeless music into the new millennium. Expect to hear talented musicians take it to the limit to bring you an exciting showcase of the Eagles' greatest hits, including "Take It Easy," "Best of My Love," "New Kid in Town," "Heartache Tonight" and, of course, the classic "Hotel California."

The concert begins at 7:30 p.m., but you're invited to show up at 5 p.m. for a pre-show summertime barbecue sponsored by Shop-Rite of Parsippany. All proceeds benefit the Parsippany Police Athletic League.
