Mount Tabor 19th Annual House Tour

VICTORIAN HOUSE TOUR: The Mount Tabor Historical Society will hold a self-guided House Tour on Saturday, September 29, 2012, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Rain or shine.

Featuring 13 private homes and 7 community buildings, this is the largest house tour in the area. All sites are within walking distance, and the tour provides a unique opportunity to peek inside these charming Victorian carpenter-Gothic cottages. Visitors may also view the J. Smith Richardson History House. Docents will explain proposed plans for re-creating the house interior as it was in the Victorian era.

NEW for 2012! Step inside a replica Camp Meeting Tent and experience traditional tent life for yourself. Also new this year: from 11am to 1pm stop in Trinity Park to have a souvenir photo taken (for a small donation) to commemorate your visit to our historic community with a print to take home.
