Movies Playing in Parsippany This Weekend
Offerings include Oscar's 2013 Best Picture, "Argo," and just-released "Jack the Giant Slayer" and "21 and Over."
The Academy Awards have come and gone, but cinematic good times go on. Catch up on Oscar nominated movies you may have missed: In addition to Best Picture "Argo," "Life of Pi" (Best Director Ang Lee), "Silver Linings Playbook" (Best Actress Jennifer Lawrence), "Django Unchained" (Best Supporting Actor Christoph Waltz and Best Original Screenplay for Quentin Tarantino) and controversial nominee "Zero Dark Thirty" (whose lack of awards may have to do with politics; and they say Congress members don't do anything in Washington).
Whatever one thought of the Oscar show, the spectacle did serve a reminder: There is nothing like seeing a film on the big screen. Movies are magical, and in the township, they're found at the Parsippany Clearview Cinemas 12. Here's what's showing this week, along with showtimes.
