Parsippany Theater to Offer Dinner, Show Package

A tri-state veteran stage actress and singer will make her cabaret debut at Parsippany’s Women’s Theater Company.

Located at the Parsippany Playhouse, the Women’s Theater Company is featuring Lynn Hart in Say Yes this upcoming weekend, according to Allison Ognibene, the theater’s Public Relations Director.

The guest musical director is James Horan and there will be an evening of songs featuring both a serious and comic look at the choices we make. 

Performance dates: 

• Saturday, Nov. 16 at 8 p.m.
• Sunday, Nov. 17 at 3 pm.

Cabaret tickets are $25 for adults and $20 for seniors.  The Cabaret series is also part of the subscription package.

Barbara Krajkowski, the theater’s artistic director, announced a special offering during the Lynn Hart Cabaret. 

Patrons can enjoy a night on the town with dinner at Parsippany’s Mount Holleran Towne Tavern followed by the show at Parsippany Playhouse.

Dinner includes house salad, choice of delmonico, tilapia or chicken francaise with cheesecake and coffee.  Dinner and Show is $47 and can be ordered online at the Women’s Theater Company’s ticket website https://wtc.booktix.com/.

Hart, formerly of Denville, has performed throughout the tri-state area, including The Women’s Theater Company in Side By Side By Sondheim and The Fantasticks, according to Ognibene.

She won the Perry Award for Outstanding Performance by an Actress in a Musical for her performance of Mrs. Johnstone in Blood Brothers and an award for her portrayal of Mama Rose in Gypsy.
