AVIS AGENT JACKED OUT CREDIT CARD!!

Hello?? Does anyone work at Corporate OR even respond to Emails via their RENTAL SITE? Imagine our horror renting from Avis at Puerto Plata DR Airport and within hours THOUSANDS of dollars worth of merchandise charges appeared on our credit card. Sure this was an Avis franchise, sure we were in a foreign country but if you can't trust Avis whom can you trust?? NEVER AGAIN anywhere would we rent from Avis.  OH almost forgot, we are frequent visitors to the DR and have many friends one of whose neighbors had the very same experience at the very same Avis counter within days prior to our incident.
