Applebee's Apple Going Green for St. Paddy's

Chain restaurant offers special dishes for the Irish-themed celebration.

For St. Patrick’s Day everyone turns Irish!  Even Applebee’s iconic red apple is going green, and the restaurant will offer special dishes and drinks for all who are Irish or Irish at heart. The celebrating starts Friday, March 15 and runs through Sunday, March 17 at Applebee's Neighborhood Grill and Bar in Parsippany.

"In honor of St. Patrick’s Day people wear green, go out and have a good time and, of course, eat corned beef and cabbage while enjoying a draft or two," said Kevin Coughlin, director of operations for Applebee’s New Jersey. "So, Applebee’s, which is operated by Doherty Enterprises, is honoring those traditions with food and drink specials served up just for the occasion,"

All weekend long, Applebee’s St. Patrick’s Day menu will include Corned Beef & Cabbage for $11.99 as well as its Corned Beef Reuben & Fries for $9.99. For those in the mood for appetizers, the luck of the Irish is with them: Applebee’s is offering its Green Bean Crispers and its Brew Pub Pretzels & Beer Cheese Dip each for only $6.00 during the celebration. The restaurant will also offer drink specials including Miller Lite drafts for $3 as well as $4 Irish coffees and $5 Mucho Sangrias including Applebee's signature Red Apple Sangria.

Like all night’s, Applebee's is open until midnight or later and the St. Pat’s special pricing and menu items will be available from opening to closefrom March 15-17.
