One day after Christmas, Parsippany’s new Buffalo Wild Wings celebrated with a VIP night. This invitation-only event on Dec. 26 offered free food and 100 percent of alcohol sales were donated to the Parsippany Police Athletic League.
“We officially opened to the public” on Friday Dec. 27, said Matt Delfino, General Manager. “We enhanced that event by giving away ‘Free Wings For A Year’ to the first 100 guests - most of whom camped outside overnight in the freezing cold to assure their spot. We played games throughout the night, gave away Red Bull and Dunkin Donuts to keep everyone going, along with a bunch of prizes and giveaways.”
Mayor Jamie Barberio cut the ribbon for the grand opening and welcomed “our first guests into the building.”

Buffalo Wild Wings moved through the application process with the township earlier this year for the vacated building at 1540 Route 46 that once housed a Chili’s, which closed in 2011. Houlihan's Restaurant and Bar eyed the property in 2012, but did not move forward.
