LLoyd Staffing Welcomes New Executive Director

Barbara Kimmich says the job market is gaining momentum and that prospective workers should consider temp work.

Job seekers and business owners looking for quality workers have a new person to turn to for help. Human resources and staffing industry expert Barbara Kimmich is now in charge of Parsippany's LLoyd Staffing.

Kimmich, who resides in Newton, said her background in recruitment, placement and client services will serve her well as LLoyd's new executive director. As experience, she cited managing "several staffing industry operations" and working as a human resources and recruiting specialist for O’Connor Hospital in San Jose, Calif.

The staffing guru says the outlook for those in the workforce market is positive.

“The marketplace is gaining momentum again and we are seeing more companies in a hiring mode," said Kimmich. "Temporary staffing remains a good option for companies who want to bring people on board without incurring the full costs of employment and it is also a good option for job seekers to gain access into local employers in a meaningful way— where they can showcase their skills and work ethic."

She advocates "temping " as a strategy for job seekers than can lead down the road to a full-time position.
