Morris Organizations Recognized for Healthcare Services to Community

GSK Consumer Healthcare holds 6th annual ceremony.

Elected officials and dignitaries from Parsippany and surrounding towns came out to celebrate GSK Consumer Healthcare’s 6th Annual Health Awards recently.

The event, held on Jan. 23 at its Parsippany site in the newly-renovated Ballantine Carriage House conference center. The awards recognize excellence on the part of non-profit organizations in Northern New Jersey that provide mental, emotional or physical healthcare-related services to the community.

Award recipients included the Cancer Hope Network; the Morris Minute Men; the Senior Resources Center; the Lake Drive Foundation; and Peak Potential.

Assemblymen Jay Webber and Anthony Bucco, Sheriff Ed Rochford, Parsippany Mayor James Barberio, Boonton Township Mayor Rob Rizzo, Boonton Township Police Chief Paul Fortunato, and District 26 Chief of Staff George Dredden were all on hand for the ceremony.
