New Smashburger Coming to Parsippany

The popular burger restaurant said it will bring 60 new jobs to the township.

The Smashburger chain is headed to town come September, and with it will come 60 new jobs. The restaurant will open its 11th branch at 1103 Route 46 East. 

“We are pleased to announce our new Smashburger location coming to the Troy Hills Shopping Center in Parsippany,” said Scott Gillman, CEO of Mascott Corporation.  “Our continued expansion is proof positive that consumers want a better burger experience.  We are committed to providing high quality burgers, fries, shakes and more and look forward to becoming a partner of the community.” 

The opening means jobs: The chain said it needs to hire cashiers, cooks and shift supervisors. Candidates age 16 and up are invited to apply for available positions at the Troy Hills Shopping Center location Monday between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. The hiring event will include in-person interviews, and quaified candidates will be hired on the spot.

A company statement said experience is welcome, but not required for interested jobseekers, who will need to bring valid identification with them to the hiring event. 

Those who cannot attend the Monday event are invited to send resumes via e-mail to Denisse.Cano@mascott.com.  Experience is welcome, but not required.  Qualified candidates will be hired on-the-spot.  Please arrive with valid identification.  Smashburger will continue interviewing and hiring up until the store opens.
