Par-Troy Company Wins Entrepreneurship Award

The award was part of a Rutgers University celebration of area businesses and business-minded citizens.

Polymerx Therapeutics Inc., a Parsippany-based startup company won the SNR Denton Elevator Pitch Competition at the recent Rutgers Entrepreneurship Day.

The aim of the contest was to honor the company with the best "pitch," a presentation marketing a project or product.

The prize went to Polymerx—a panel of judges decided the Par-Troy firm's pitch touting its polymer drug-delivery technology was the best. For its acclaimed work, Polymerx will receive a $2,500 cash award and one year of cost-free mentoring through the new Rutgers Entrepreneur Mentor Program.
