Parsippany Business, Montville Twp. to Offer SAT Program

The classroom location will be at Montville Community Park's Field House.

Next week begins a new opportunity for Parsippany-Troy Hills students.

“Montville Township together with “SAT by MBA” Learning Center is offering a low-cost but high-quality SAT program to benefit high school students from any communities,” said Rebecca Holecko of SAT by MBA. She is also the community liaison representative from the Montville Township Literacy Foundation.

Open to all students, the Parsippany-based business SAT by MBA will have its classroom location at Montville Community Park’s Field House at 130 Change Bridge Road. Its program is designed to “offer students the ultimate solution to maximize SAT scores efficiently and effectively. The program’s goal is to help students with their academic path in a time conscious way.”

The 15-hour program will cover all three standard SAT subjects: critical reading, writing and math. An optional proctored mock exam will be offered at the SAT by MBA Learning Center in Parsippany. An optional Q&A session will also be offered after the mock exam. 

The program is $300 per student and the first session is Thursday, Jan. 30 for the SAT test date of March 8. The second session on Feb. 6 is for the March 3 test date and the third session starts March 13 for the June 6 test date.

“The instructor (Peter Jung) is the program director of SAT by MBA “Learning Center. He holds an MBA degree from the Wharton School of U. Penn and an MA degree pending in Education – Curriculum and Instruction from Kean University.  He has 10 years SAT/ACT teaching experience and has helped many gift and talented students to reach a higher level goal,” said Holecko.

Students will be required to get an SAT text book “the Official SAT Study Guide,” 2nd edition published by the College Board (ISBN-10: 0874478529).
