‘Tis the season for outdoor shopping of fresh produce.

The Parsippany Farmers' Market is set to make its triumphant return this month, and will set up shop in the town parking lot at the corner of North Beverwyck Road and Minnehaha Boulevard in Lake Hiawatha every Friday from 1 to 7 p.m.

Opening day will be June 27 and be available to the public weekly until Oct. 24.

According to Parsippany-Troy Hills Township, the market carries a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, nuts, jams and jellies, honey, flowers and baked goods.

The market is open rain or shine.

Glad it is back! Great location! It should start early June like the others and end mid Nov. hope they have more vendors this year.

For newcomers to the Farmers Market - don't look for what you see in the picture above. That picture is from several years ago when the farmers market was at town hall and all the produce was from local farmers like Alstede's and Stony Hill Farms.
