Walter Bauman Jewelers Opens New Par-Troy Store
A ribbon cutting was held at the new Route 46 shop, which will focus on buying and selling gold and estate jewelry.
Mayor James Barberio, Chamber of Commerce President Robert Peluso and company executives were on hand for the official grand opening of a new Walter Bauman Jewelers location at 384 Route 46 West in Parsippany Shopping Plaza.
The new store, unlike other Bauman locations in West Orange, Clifton, Short Hills and Union, won't have gift jewelry and the like for sale. Operations Manager Robert J. LaFalce said estate jewelry and gold will be the focus here.
"In this economic climate, we feel this is the best move," he said. "If it works well, we may use this model in other locations."

Owner Walter Bauman said he is excited about the new site.
"Parsippany is a great town and we hope the community embraces us," Bauman said.
