What Should Replace Payless Shoe Store?

Patch wants to hear your ideas for filling Parsippany's vacant business buildings.

It's time yet again for Patch's periodic collective musing regarding business vacancies in the township.

The current vacancy in question is the long-empty Payless Shoe Store unit at 804-B Route 46 in Arlington Plaza. The storefront, being leased by Garden Commercial Properties in Short Hills, is visibly well-maintained. The interior is clean and the exterior glass windows and door are immaculate—which means the site is ready for another business to bring it back to life.

What do you think would work for Payless' former space? Tell us what you would like to see in the comments. We will take your suggestions and pass them along to the town's economic development chief, Mayor James Barberio.
