Zinburger to Replace Chevy’s In Parsippany

No opening date set for new restaurant, report says.

From Mexican to modern, one of the hottest dining spots in Parsippany is about to undergo a big change.

According to parsippanyfocus.com, Zinburger restaurant will be opening at the corner of Rt. 10 and Littleton Road where Chevy’s Fresh Mex once stood.

A sign adorning the exterior of the building claims the contemporary and stylish eatery is coming soon, but the company has yet to get approvals from the township to occupy the space, the report said.

According to its website, Zinburger has three other New Jersey locations: Cherry Hill; Clifton; and Paramus. Altogether Zinburger has 10 locations in six states along the east coast.

“Energetic, modern, upbeat, fun and most importantly, simply delicious, Zinburger offers a mouthwatering selection of gourmet burgers, salads and sides, decadent shakes and desserts, and a carefully crafted selection of wine,” the restaurants website says.

Chevy’s has been closed since a fire destroyed the establishment in May 2011. The fire was deemed accidental when grease from the kitchen ignited, resulting in a roof collapse and complete charring of the interior.

There is no scheduled date for the new restaurant to open, parsippanyfocus.com reported.
