This non-profit agency takes care of some 1400 people with mental retardation, developmental disabilities, and autism. It employs more than 700 people, and operates a network of 36 group residences along with fourteen non-residential programs in Queens, Nassau, and Suffolk (NY).

“We are thrilled that this June 2nd event is building on the success of last year at the exquisite Edgewood Country Club, through the stalwart partnership of WABC Radio (770 AM), a 50,000 watt broadcast outlet covering New York City and the tri-state metro region,” explains Matthew Zebatto, the agency’s Assistant Executive Director. Zebatto credits Geraldo Rivera, one of WABC’s weekday broadcast talents with facilitating this influential broadcast outlet’s endorsement. “Geraldo has been a faithful participant at past LIFE’S WORC golf outings, so this has motivated WABC’s sponsorship as they appreciate the priority and commitment Geraldo has demonstrated for our organization,” Zebatto describes. “Geraldo as a Jersey-ite, together with prominent Jersey attorney Mark Salah Morgan will help to recognize future expansion of LIFE’S WORC into this state."
