Masquerade

Driving to work I pass a pre-school that has a life-size cement hippo in their front yard. It is definitely a source of amusement and I am sure the children just love it. But today it had something different. They had put a turkey tail on the beast. Seeing the hippo masquerade as a turkey was laughable indeed. It made me think of many other things that masquerade as something else. On Black Friday I saw many lawn tractors, snow throwers and leaf blowers that said they were as good as, or cheaper than or a great bargain. But in truth, they are not the same. I subscribe to the adage that you get what you pay for. They may be cheaper but they will not last. Power Place sells the equipment you can depend on. After all, only a Deere runs like a Deere.
