This is a very clear and straight forward definition of a sensory diet. For many parents that I work with, I strongly recommend that you consult with your OT (private or in public school) to gain a sensory profile and sensory diet to be implemented at home and in school. The more proactive you are with sensory exercises, the better. For a child who becomes dysregulated throughout the day, this is a great way to maintain regulation and build awareness for your child and surrounding teachers and support staff.http://sensorysmarts.com/sensory_diet_activities.html
