Good Friday Crosswalk Follows in Jesus' Footsteps

Pre-Easter event brings together Parsippany Christians to ponder Christ's passion.

A number of Parsippany churches came together on Good Friday to remember what Jesus suffered on the day of his crucifixion.

The pre-Easter observance, which united St. Gregory’s Episcopal Church, First Baptist Community Church and the United Methodist Church of Parsippany, started with a joint service hosted by St. Gregory’s; the Commemoration of the Via Crucis, a procession along South Beverwyck Road paying homage to Jesus' final walk; and a final prayer service at the UMC.

Joanne Rich shared photos from an experience participants reportedly found incredibly moving.
