At approximately 1:30 p.m., participants will begin the Commemoration of the Via Crucis, with the Rev. Jeff Edwards of the United Methodist Church leading the procession. Volunteers will carry a symbolic cross along South Beverwyck Road to the United Methodist Church. There will be stops or “stations” along the way for prayer, emulating the stops that Jesus made on the way to his crucifixion.
The Commemoration will conclude with a final prayer service and a time for reflection at the United Methodist Church of Parsippany.

Everyone is welcome to join this highly participatory event designed to help Christians understand, contemplate and pray about the events that led to Easter.
