Another bank robbery has taken place in Morris County and Parsippany, according to the Morris County Prosecutor's Office. A man who did not fit the description of the "Dapper Bandit" who reportedly struck the Indus American Bank at Pathmark early in the month allegedly brandished a handgun during the incident at Provident Bank on Smith Road Monday, the prosecutor's office said. 

By a vote of 38-24, the Parsippany Republican Municipal Committee on Monday night selected Judy Tiedemann as its nominee to battle Democratic nom Jonathan Nelson for the unexpired council term race in November.

The investigation continues into the Aug. 19 fatal car crash in Ulster County, N.Y., that took the life of a 41-year-old Parsippany mother, nurse and Little Vikings Cheerleaders assistant coach Kim Lynn and seriously injured her 12-year-old daughter, police said.

Parsippany honored the Par-Troy East Little League All-Stars who won their way to Williamsport, Pa., and represented the Mid-Atlantic Region in the Little League World Series Sunday afternoon. 

The celebration began with a motorcade that traveled along North Beverwyck Road to Vail Road and ultimately to Veterans' Memorial Park.
