Neighbors-Helping-Neighbors, a free peer-led volunteer support group for people actively looking for work meets Tuesday at 7:15 p.m. at the  at 68 Nokomis Ave. in Hiawatha.

The Parsippany Township Council sets the plan for its Dec. 18 session at an agenda meeting Tuesday at Town Hall at 7:30 p.m. Among the items to be discussed The public is invited to attend.

PSGMC peer support group for job seekers meets Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at the Parsippany-Troy Hills Free Public Library at 449 Halsey Road to hear guest speakers well-versed in all facets of career search and development.

Hanukkah is here! Parsippany celebrates the Jewish Festival of Lights at its Annual Menorah Lighting Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Town Hall. Come out for community, music, miracles and delicious jelly doughnuts.

If you're a fan of the Real Housewives of New Jersey, here's a treat that will cost you one new, wnwrapped toy: Rauchberg Dental Group, at 199 Baldwin Road, is joining numerous Parsippany groups in becoming part of the U.S. Marine Corps' Toys for Tots effort. The dental office will collect toys for needy kids Wednesday from 7-9 p.m., and for members of the RHONJ cast will be on hand to sign autographs. You must bring a toy to be admitted, and if the satisfaction of helping others doesn't satifsy,  you'll get a coupon for a free dental exam as your reward.

Join the movement to help create a world with less cancer and more birthdays by enrolling in the American Cancer Society Cancer Prevention Study-3. Parsippany Presbyterian Church kicks off its Christmas celebration with its annual Carols and Cookies Party. The idea is to gather, eat cookies, drink egg nog and hot cocoa and sing lots and lots of Christmas carols. The free fellowship-building event takes place at the church, 1675 Route 46 West, Thursday at 7 p.m.

Try Masala Bhangra Fitness. The weekly classes teach an exercise dance routine that mixes the high-energy folk dance of Bhangra (Indian dance) with Bollywood moves. Enjoy the sounds of the season and connect with the real meaning of Christmas when United Methodist Church of Parsippany, 903 S. Beverwyck Road, presents a Christmas Cantata and Pageant. The free musical event takes place at the church Sunday at 10:30 a.m.

Need more Christmas music? You're in luck: St. Peter the Apostle Church, at 179 Baldwin Road, presents its Christmas Concert Sunday at 3:30 p.m. 

Try your luck at St. Peter the Apostle Church's Weekly Bingo. It's easy to play, you can win prizes and it's free! The event is held Sundays from 6-10 p.m. at 179 Baldwin Road.

'Til death do us part? Sadly, not always. If your marriage is ending, get some support. In Parsippany, you have two options: The Crossroads Divorce Support Group, a free gathering for divorced men and women of any faith that offers special events, community and healing, is presented at St. Peter the Apostle Church Sunday at 7 p.m. at 179 Baldwin Road. The other group, also offered Sunday at 7 p.m., is called Puzzle Pieces - A Divorced/Separated Support Group. This one is secular and has a fee—just a dollar—and takes place at the Parsippany Police Athletic League Center at 33 Baldwin Road.
