Applebee's Neighborhood Grill and Bar features a special Valentine's Day 2 for $20 entree deal, allowing couples to save some coin while enjoying a nice meal together.

Amiya Restaurant presents its holiday bash Feb. 14 from 8 p.m. to midnight. The price per person for the event is $50, which includes tax and gratuity.

Blackthorn Irish Restaurant and Pub marks the night of love with a special Valentine's Day menu, drink specials, presents for all female guests and live music by Jenni Spiro from 6 p.m.-9 p.m.

Gourmet Cafe, the 2012 Patch Readers' Choice for Best Italian Restaurant offers a special menu for the holiday. Reservations are required (and may be hard to get) by calling 973-316-0088.

Ruth's Chris Steak House will celebrate the holiday all weekend long with special Valentine's hours: Thursday 4-10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 4-10:30 p.m.
