Change in Par-Troy Polling Places for Special Election

The election between Lonegan and Booker is this Wednesday.

U.S. Senate candidate Steve Lonegan, a former mayor of Bogota, faces off against Newark Cory Mayor Booker Oct. 16 in the special election to fill the senate seat left vacant after the death of longtime Sen. Frank Lautenberg.

For the special election in Parsippany this upcoming Wednesday, there have been some changes in polling locations.

The following polling locations have been changed for this election only. Polls will be open from 6 a.m. - 8 p.m. according to the township.

The polling places were changed due to "scheduling conflicts with the locations. The churches had set their schedule at the beginning of the year and have things planned for the 16th and the Safety Academy had already booked all the classrooms for that date as well," said Yancy Wazirmas, Township Clerk.
