- Age: 56
- Family: Married to Sandra L. Neglia - Sandra is a special needs teacher in Rockaway NJ and an avid volunteer in the community as well. Proud parent of Danielle 34, Allison32, BJ 30, and Anthony 29 all K-12 graduates of Parsippany Public Schools and Nicholas 17 who is currently attending a Parsippany Public School. Proud Grandparent of 6 Grandchildren
- What is your education background?
- Hold certificates and have been trained in various Safety, Security and Facilities Related Courses, Grounds and Field Maintenance, Emergency Management, Energy Management, HVAC, Incident Command, Emergency Response Team Leader and Confined Space Entry & Rescue.
- Associate Degree in Criminal Justice from The County College of Morris, Randolph, New Jersey.
- Qualified instructor for Self Contained Breathing Apparatus through N.I.O.S.H. and M.S.A.
- Certified as a Hazardous Materials Technician, 29 CFR 1910.120 and in Hazardous/Toxic Waste Management.
- Current certification in CPR and First Aid
- Hold certification in Asbestos Control for Supervisors- TSCA Title II accreditation
- Morris County Fire Fighters & Police Training Academy
- University of Maryland Fire Academy Training
- Regarding Transparency & Communicating, simple, be open and don't hide things from the public, the district employees and other BOE members. Conduct your meetings and VOTES in front of the public and not behind closed doors, Work together as a team and keep personal political agendas out of the Board of Education.
- Regarding "Being fiscally responsible", be more accountable and keep in mind the decisions you make will have long term effects on both the Students and Staff. Make decisions always with the best interest of the students in mind. Ensure that all tax dollars are wisely spent on the needs of the students.
