Parsippany-Troy Hills Primary Election Voting Guide

No local races, but contested congressional vote on the ballot for residents.

While no elections are being held for the Parsippany-Troy Hills Township mayor or council, a handful of county and congressional races are on Tuesday’s Primary Election ballot.

Representing Parsippany, Republican Congressman Rodney Frelinghuysen is opposed by Rick Van Glahn. The 11th District incumbent is seeking his 11th consecutive two-year term in the House of Representatives.

At the county level, Surrogate John Pecoraro is running unopposed, seeking his fifth consecutive term.

Freeholder and Montville native, Republican William “Hank” Lyon is also running unopposed. On the Democratic side, Rockaway’s Matthew Davis is running unopposed as well. The two will square off in November’s General Election.
