Par-Troy Candidates Await Poll Results

Check back with Patch for results as the night goes on.

All is quiet at the Par-Troy School board building as about 15 people watch the results come in.

Supporters for Democrat candidates chatted at the Parsippany Elks Club on Tuesday night. They were watching the poll results come in for Mayoral candidate Jonathan Nelson and council candidates Robert "Bob" Keller and Mihir Oza.

All election day, "I've been working, making calls to friends and colleagues, all the last-minute items," said Keller.

"I'm terribly excited. I was mobilizing hundreds of people from my phone," said Oza. "I'm glad it's almost over."

I enjoy meeting them, working with Keller and Oza on the election with Jonathan Nelson. It wasn't the first time I worked on a Mayoral campaign. I think it's a great experience for anyone to work on a campaign at least once," said Joe Petrosine. He added that his 13-year-old daughter Gabrielle helped canvass during the campaign.

Supporters for Mayor Jamie Barberio filled up the Lake Parsipanny Club House.
