Arvanites Faces Frelinghuysen in TV Debate

WAYNE – Democratic congressional candidate John Arvanites is to debate nine-term incumbent Rep. Rodney Frelinghuysen (R-11th) at 7 p.m. Wednesday, October 17, at the William Paterson University of New Jersey in
Wayne. The debate is open to the public.

Arvanites, 45, a certified public accountant and former Mayor of Roseland, seeks to unseat Frelinghuysen, who has served in Congress since 1995, in the November 6 general election. Arvanites and his family now live in Morristown.

“This debate will allow voters to hear my views about economic relief, job creation, education, healthcare and the other crucial issues that affect their daily lives,” Arvanites said. “I look forward to a candid public dialogue with Mr. Frelinghuysen.”
