Team Zoey: 3rd Annual 'Spin For Life'

What:             Team Zoey is hosting its third annual “Spin for Life” Spin-A-Thon to help raise funds to find a cure for Progeria, a fatal “rapid aging” disease.


 


When:  Sunday, Jan. 27, 12-4 p.m.,

Where: Lakeland Hills YMCA, 100 Fanny Road, Mountain Lakes, NJ 07046


Why:  To raise awareness of the disease, and funds for the Progeria Research Foundation. Progeria is a fatal “rapid aging” disease where the children die at an average age of 13 from heart disease.

How:  There will be 24 teams of 8 people who will each be responsible for spinning for 30 minutes. Participants can spin as a team or individually   with the goal of each team raising a minimum of $500. Sponsorship opportunities are available as well. Fundraising options include raffle tickets, which are available for $10 each or $90 for 10.


Prizes include:



  • Lakeland Hills Family Y Membership ($930)

  • 2 Broadway Play Tickets ($200)

  • 2 Giants Tickets for regular 2013 season ($400)
