HALLOWEEN COMICFEST AT FUNNYBOOKS

FUNNYBOOKS Comics & Stuff in Lake Hiawatha will celebrate Halloween early this year by hosting HALLOWEEN COMICFEST on Saturday, October 26th. FUNNYBOOKS will be giving out FREE Halloween all-ages mini-comics (including ADVENTURE TIME, BEN TEN, ARCHIE, and MY LITTLE PONY) to everyone who stops by the little red brick comic shop from 11am-6pm on Saturday. Halloween candy will also be on hand. Additionally, FUNNYBOOKS will offer a 20%-OFF discount on EVERYTHING IN THE STORE for those who wear Halloween Costumes or who bring their kids in costume. FUNNYBOOKS' owner, Steve Conte will himself be in costume for the event, reprising his New York Comic Con role of "Surf's Up Batman," and the FUNNYBOOKS building Mascot will also be on hand for photo opportunities (so you may want to bring your camera). FUNNYBOOKS will also be handing out FREE comics on Halloween day (Thursday) to all trick-or-treaters who stop by.
