PACC “Employment Search with the Use of Databases” – A Workshop for Job Seekers
The Parsippany Area Chamber of Commerce’s Employment Outreach Program continues to assist the public in employment outreach.
An inspiring program for people in career transition called ‘Employment Search with the Use of Databases’ – A Workshop for Job Seekers: will be held on Monday, September 30 from 10:00 a.m. –12:00 p.m. Market and target company research are key elements to the job successful search. Without research it decelerates landing a good job. This workshop is presented to a live audience at Parsippany-Troy Hills Public Library, 449 Halsey Road. Although there is no charge for this event, advance registration is required by clicking here and space is limited to 30 registrations.
Through Library resources and databases you can research companies and industries to get the information you need for a job search. In this workshop you will learn how to use Reference USA, a powerful database of companies and industries in the US that the library provides to cardholders. Through the NJ Dept. of Labor you will learn how to improve your job search through Jobs4Jersey.com.

There will be an open forum Q&A Neil Cooper will answer all your questions. We will close with a networking session for the participants.
