Read to a Dog!

Perfect for back to school ... it's the return of our therapy dogs! Visit Rusty and Zoe for Read to a Dog on Saturday, October 5th from 11:00 am to Noon. This program is open to all ages, both readers and pre-readers. No residency requirements.

Reading aloud to non-judgmental listeners (like dogs!) boosts confidence and improves reading and recitation skills. Moreover, reading together helps to reinforce letter recognition and vocabulary, and it creates a stronger bond with books. It's also a lot of fun! Don't believe us?
