SHABBAT ACROSS THE COMMUNITY

On Friday night, March 7th, Congregation Beth Torah of Florham Park will be hosting a special evening for members, families and friends called SHABBAT ACROSS THE COMMUNITY. The evening, which is open to all in Morris and Essex counties, starts at 6:00 pm and will take place at the Florham Park Rec Center, behind the police headquarters in Florham Park. During the evening, guests will share a traditional, Sabbath dinner followed by services led by Rabbi Kenneth Tarlow and assisted by the Hebrew School students. Oneg Shabbat, an opportunity for fellowship and desserts, will conclude the event. Congregants are looking forward to being together and are eager to introduce the warm, family-centered atmosphere of Shabbat and CBT to all – young, old, single, married or anyone interested in participating in a traditional Shabbat experience.  They hope to share this Friday night with those in the community from CBT, other temples and those who may be unaffiliated. Dinner will be kosher. The cost to attend is $25 for adults, $12 for children 5-13 and no charge for children under 5. Please RSVP to Sue Denholtz at 973-966-6167 or e-mail her at susteps@aol.com.
