VNA Hospice Volunteer Training

If you can spare as little as two hours a week and you’ve been considering
volunteer work, why not become a member of the VNA of Northern NJ Hospice team?
As a Hospice visitor, you can deliver comfort and companionship to terminally-ill patients and their families in your community.

A free 16-hour training program prepares volunteers for the role of hospice visitor. The next training will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and Tuesday, February 25, 2013 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Classes will be held at the VNA headquarters at 175 South Street, Morristown, NJ.

Upon completion of the training course, volunteers receive assignments which accommodate their individual schedules and geographic preferences. Hospice volunteers are also invited to participate in various group activities
throughout the year. For further information, contact Brian Pastor, Volunteer
Coordinator, at bpastor@vnannj.org.

There is still plenty of space left for this training.
