1,000 Volunteer Serve for September 11th Day of Service & Remembrance

Jersey Cares will mobilize 300 volunteers, who are part of a week-long event including 1,000 volunteers giving back in over 30 service projects in 13 counties across New Jersey. With these projects, volunteers will demonstrate that the actions of September 11, 2001, which were design to foster division and animosity, have instead brought unity and service both in New Jersey and throughout America.

Jersey Cares volunteers will be working at the Morristown Neighbor House, located in Morristown. Volunteers will be leading arts and crafts activities and recreational workshops for children ages kindergarten to fifth grade in the after-school prgram.

Registration is required.
