Bone Marrow Donor Drive for Sheila!

In May 2011, after giving birth to her beautiful daughter Gabrielle, Sheila was diagnosed with AML (Acute Myeloid Leukemia). AML is a life threatening blood disorder. The only chance for Sheila to survive is to fine a life saving bone marrow donor as soon as possible. Sheila is currently in the hospital waiting for her chance to see her daughter and husband again.

The staff and families of Childrens Circle, where Gabrielle is a student, are sponsoring a bone marrow donor drive to help in this urgent situation. Times have changed and being tested to be a bone marrow donor is as easy as a cheek swab! A brief registration form will also need to be complete and results will be kept on file in the case you may be a match for someone else in the US in need.

Please come out to help out this family on Saturday morning. More details about becoming a donor can be found at www.getswabbed.org  Donations for the family will also be accepted at the donor drive as well.  Thank you for your help. If you can't do it, share the story, maybe someone else can!
