Mount Tabor Victorian House Tour

The Mount Tabor Historical Society will conduct its eighteenth annual House Tour on Saturday, September 24, 2011, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Mount Tabor is located in Morris County along Route 53 between Denville and Morris Plains.

The self-guided walking tour includes over 15 Victorian cottages and historic buildings. Tickets are $20.00 per person and may be purchased in advance by mail, or on the day of the tour at the gazebo on Simpson Ave., near the Tabernacle. Other attractions include a quilt exhibition.

Visitor parking is available courtesy of the nearby Mount Tabor School on Park Road. A free shuttle bus provided by the Township of Parsippany‑Troy Hills and the Mount Tabor Historical Society will take house tour visitors from the school to Mount Tabor. The shuttle will run continuously throughout the day from 10:30‑4:30. Tickets will be sold at the shuttle bus site.
