Young GOPpers to Mingle with Candidates

Please join the Morris County Young Republicans on April 26 at 6:30 p.m. at the Famished Frog in Morristown and meet the candidates that want to represent you.

Our mission is to educate and empower young voters to become engaged in the political landscape. We encourage folks to work alongside their elected officials to ensure that our high-quality of life is sustained --- that our taxes are fiscally responsible, services ample and environment family and business friendly to preserve the wonderful community we have in Morris County.

Because of our choices and our values, we choose to continue to support the Republican Party in our county, state and nation by sharing our time, our passion, our ideas, and our dedication. We do this to ensure the strength of the party into the future. While we do not support any one particular candidate in the primary, once the primary season is complete, we will be fully invested in the campaigns of our Republican candidates. We work alongside with the Morris County GOP and local municipalities to provide support wherever it is needed. We are also committed to re-electing Governor Chris Christie and are already working hard to prepare for his re-election campaign (we are sincerely hoping he runs again). In short, the MCYRs are hoping to train our own members to one day run for public office themselves. The ideals of a commitment to our county, state and nation, fiscal responsibility and restraint, smaller and less intrusive government and the belief in the American dream are alive and well with the MCYRs.

In this critical election year, it is important that all of us understand the issues facing our county, state, and nation.   Exercise your right to know, and come meet your candidates for your local Town Council, the Morris County Board of Chosen Freeholders and the U.S. Congress.  Good conversation and good cheer are guaranteed.
