'Stupid Cancer' Happy Hour to Benefit 6-Year-Old With Brain Tumor

Three-hour event to be held at Pure Parsippany Friday.

Sean Ries is as cute as he courageous. And the community wants nothing but to help and keep him that way.

The Mt. Tabor 6-year-old has been battling glioma – a rare form of slow-growing brain cancer since February 2012. Fundraisers to help the boy and his family battle the disease have been held in the past, and another one in Parsippany is on the horizon.

From 4 to 7 p.m. at Pure Parsippany on Friday, Feb. 7, customers can enjoy a 50-percent off Happy Hour with DJ Tito on hand. The event is the first of its kind, and proceeds will benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and TEAMSean, named for Reis.
