Curtain Rises for Parsippany Church's Christmas Play

The ages of the cast members range from six to senior citizens.

Take a break from all the holiday shopping madness and stop by the Parsippany United Methodist Church for its 5th Annual original Christmas play written by Pastor Jeff Edwards.

The church will present “Dreams: A Christmas Story” on Friday at 7:30 p.m., Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 7 p.m.

“The story involves two distinctly different churches and deals with the ways in which religion can harm and divide humanity, but also its capacity to bless and bring hope and overcome the divisions that separate us,” said the church. “Evoking a range of emotions, the play celebrates the love revealed in Jesus, who was born among outcastes of this world to open our eyes to the intrinsic value of every single person.
