Former Frank & Sons Owner, Parsippany Man Dies at 88

Francesco Palmeri survived by wife, two children, seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.

Everyone knew him as Frank, the former owner of Frank & Sons Pizzeria on Parsippany Road.

His real name was Francesco Palmeri, and he moved to Parsippany in 1971. He died on Friday, April 11 at the age of 88.

Palmeri owned the pizzeria for many years before retiring after moving to the United States from Sicily, Italy. He first lived in New York for three years before settling down in Morris County, his obituary said.

Palmeri is survived by his wife, Vita, a son and two daughters, as well as seven grandchildren. He was also a great-grandfather to five children.
